AZ Congresswoman assassination scenario has MKULTRA profile, drug & space target

The mass political assassination attack in Tucson, AZ on Saturday January 8, 2011 that as of 2:44 pm pst had left six people dead and eighteen shot were shot during the attack has a marked MKULTRA profile, and of suppression of drug cartel investigation and of expansion the U.S. space program as one of its effects.

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords was reported in grave condition and in surgery at University Medical Center in Tucson, after the shooting in a Safeway supermarket parking lot.

“According to MSNBC, "Police say the shooter was in custody, and was identified by people familiar with the investigation as Jared Loughner, 22. Pima County Sheriff's officials said he used a pistol to carry out the shooting spree. U.S. officials who provided his name to the AP spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to release it publicly."

“In a You Tube video attributed to Jared Lee Loughner, which was posted approximately about three weeks ago, Loughner states, in part:

“This video is my introduction to you! My favorite activity is conscience dreaming: the greatest inspiration for my political business information. Some of you don’t dream – sadly.


“In conclusion, my ambition – is for informing literate dreamers about a new currency; in a few days, you know I’m conscience dreaming! Thank you!

“The MSNBC report also indicates that federal law enforcement officials were analyzing Loughner's MySpace page after the shooting incident. According to MSNBC, "The MySpace page, which was removed within minutes of the gunman being identified by U.S. officials, included a mysterious 'Goodbye friends' message published hours before the shooting and exhorted his friends to 'Please don't be mad at me.'"

MKULTRA and political assassinations

The preliminary profile of Mark Lee Loughner indicates that he may be a person going through genuine programming under MKULTRA by mind control methods and programming by on-the-ground MKULTRA agents designed to disorient the individual mind and turn the individual into a ‘Manchurian candidate’ type assassin.

The U.S. space program and International Space Station is affected by the MKULTRA assassination attack on Rep. Gabrielle Giffords.

Her husband, U.S. Navy Capt. Mark E. Kelly, 56, “is the scheduled commander of the 134th NASA shuttle flight, which is the last planned shuttle mission using the space shuttle Endeavour, set to launch April 1, 2011. He is a three-time veteran of shuttle missions.

Jewish congresswoman in critical condition after Arizona shooting attack

Rep. Gabrielle Giffords of Arizona was shot in the head Saturday when an assailant opened fire outside a grocery store during a meeting with constituents, killing at least five people and wounding several others in a rampage that rattled the nation.

Giffords was among at least 10 people wounded, and the hospital said her outlook was "optimistic" and that she was responding to commands from doctors despite having a bullet go through her head. The hospital said a 9-year-old child was among the dead, and a U.S. Marshal said a federal judge was also fatally shot in the attack.

His exact motivation was not immediately clear. Federal law enforcement officials were poring over captured versions of a MySpace page that belonged to Jared Loughner and over Youtube video published to the Internet weeks ago under an account "Classitup10" and linked to him. The MySpace page, which was removed within minutes of the gunman being identified by U.S. officials, included a mysterious" Goodbye friends" message published hours before the shooting and exhorted his friends to "Please don't be mad at me."

In one of several Youtube videos, which featured text against a dark background, Loughner described inventing a new U.S. currency and complained about the illiteracy rate among people living in Giffords' congressional district in Arizona. Two spellings of his last name were given in the aftermath of the shooting - Loughner and Laughner.

"I know who's listening: Government Officials, and the People," Loughner wrote. "Nearly all the people, who don't know this accurate information of a new currency, aren't aware of mind control and brainwash methods. If I have my civil rights, then this message wouldn't have happen (sic)."

Giffords is married to astronaut Mark E. Kelly, who has piloted space shuttles Endeavour and Discovery. The two met in China in 2003 while they were serving on a committee there, and were married in January 2007.

Sen. Bill Nelson, chairman of the Senate Commerce Space and Science Subcommittee, said her husband is training to be the commander of the next space shuttle mission slated for April. His brother is currently serving aboard the International Space Station, Nelson said.

Giffords, known as "Gabby" in Arizona, tweeted shortly before the shooting, describing her Congress on Your Corner event: My 1st Congress on Your Corner starts now. Please stop by to let me know what is on your mind or tweet me later.

"It's not surprising that today Gabby was doing what she always does, listening to the hopes and concerns of her neighbors," Obama said. "That is the essence of what our democracy is about."

Giffords has drawn the ire of the right in the last year, especially from politicians like former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin over her support of Obama's health care reform bill.

Her Tucson office was vandalized a few hours after the House voted to approve the health care law in March, with someone either kicking or shooting out a glass door and window. In an interview after the vandalism, Giffords referred to the animosity against her by conservatives. Palin listed Giffords' seat as one of the top targets in the November elections because of the lawmakers' support for the health care law.

"For example, we're on Sarah Palin's targeted list, but the thing is, that the way that she has it depicted has the crosshairs of a gun sight over our district. When people do that, they have to realize that there are consequences to that action," Giffords said in an interview with MSNBC.

Arizona gunman didn't act alone: police

TUCSON, Arizona: Police believe the gunman who shot a US congresswoman in an attack which left six dead in Tucson, Arizona did not act alone, the local sheriff said.

"There's some reason to believe that he came to this location with another individual," said Clarence Dupnik, sheriff of Pima County who is in charge of the probe into the attack on Representative Gabrielle Giffords.

Giving an update on the shooting, he said the 22-year-old man gunman, who was arrested at the scene, "has kind of a troubled past, and we're not convinced that he acted alone."

It was supposed to be an informal event outside a Tucson supermarket to meet and chat with Rep. Gabrielle Giffords about any concerns constituents might have about the federal government.

Giffords had held many of these Town Hall-style events in the past, but this was her first "Congress on Your Corner' of the New Year. Just three days earlier Giffords had been sworn in to her third 2-year term in Washington. She was back in Tucson to meet with constituents of her district, which includes parts of Tucson and all of southeastern Arizona down to the border with Mexico.

Her staff had set up several tables outside the entrance to the Safeway store on Oracle Road near Ina, an upscale area on the northern edge of Tucson near Oro Valley. They also had set up an American flag along with a large white banner with Gifford's name printed on it.

The event, scheduled to start at 10 a.m., was barely underway. Suddenly a man rushed into the crowd and began shooting people with a semi-automatic pistol, said Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik.

Jason Pekau, 31, was at his job at the Sprint store nearby when he heard about 15 to 20 consistent gun shots.

"There was no break in between," Pekau said.

"It happened so fast. I saw all the chaos going on," said Pekau, who travels to work from his home in Queen Creek. "They were running toward me and screaming and crying. I ran toward them to see what was going on," he said.

Pekau saw people running with blood on their shirts. He saw one person halfway in the parking lot and two more laying on the sidewalk. Pekau saw bullet holes in the walls and in the Safeway windows. He saw a small body and later figured it was the 9-year-old girl who was killed.

"That was hard for me because I have a six-year-old daughter of my own," Pekau said.

Police identified the suspect in the shooting as Jared Lee Loughner, 22, of Tucson.

Dupnik said "two brave people" tackled the suspect to the ground.

"He probably would have shot more people had he not been tackled by two people," Dupnik said.

Pekau said he saw a pile of people holding down the shooter.

"A doctor who happened to be there tackled him and they were holding him until police arrived," he said.

Pekau snapped photos from his cell phone. "I can't get the images out of my mind. I try to kick back and see flashes of it," he said.

Oro Valley resident Ryan Murray, 30, was driving northbound on Oracle at about 10:15 a.m. when traffic in front of the Safeway plaza came to a standstill.

Murray said he saw three helicopters, at least six ambulances and a crowd of people emerging from the shopping center.

"Some people were crying, and other people were very upset. There were lots of angry people," he said.

Like many around him, Murray turned off his car. People assumed it was a fire, he said.

As more witnesses exited, he began to hear varying accounts of the shooting.

"It's just an ugly nightmare," Murray said.

Carmelo Rivera, 33, had just started his first day at work as a server at Frogs Organic Bakery, a restaurant in an upscale plaza on the other side of Oracle Road.

Soon after, several customers rushed in and said that Giffords had been shot at the Safeway across the street.

Rivera didn't believe it at first.

Many customers seemed to be in disbelief at the news, Rivera said. Some whipped out cell phones and laptops to scan the internet for news. At one point, a woman yelled that she had just read on CNN that Giffords had died. The report turned out to be false.

Michelle Barghout, who also works at Frogs Organic Bakery, described the area as upper-middle class.

The intersection of Oracle and Ina is dotted with designer boutiques and specialty restaurants.

"This is a safe, more upscale area," said Barghout, 24. "People were surprised to see even one or two police cars here."

By noon, many of the stores immediately surrounding the Safeway were closed. A manager at Casas Adobes Flower Shop, adjacent to the grocery store, said employees were allowed to go home early as soon as they were able to leave.

Dupnik: Gunman made previous 'threats of death' but not against Giffords

Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik said Saturday evening that the man linked to the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords and others might have an accomplice.

“We are not convinced he acted alone,” Dupnik said at a news conference.

Dupnik said investigators have reason to believe the 22-year-old suspect whom he would not name came to the scene with someone else. “We have photos,” Dupnik said of the gunman’s companion.

The “person of interest” is a male in his 50s. He said authorities were in an active search for the individual late Saturday.

Nate T. Gray, of the FBI, referred to bringing “those responsible” to justice.

Six people have now died in the attack, said Gray, who is in charge of the FBI office in Phoenix. Five people died at the scene and a 9-year-old girl died at a hospital, said Dupnik.

This is a sad day for Tucson ... a sad day for America,” Dupnik said.

There was no security at the event, a meet-and-greet outside a Safeway on the northwest side, Gray said. In all, 19 people were shot or injured, Dupnik said.

The names of those killed were not going to be released officially until all family members of the victims have been notified, the sheriff said.

Two of the people who were wounded have not been identified by authorities, he said.

The surgeon is “cautiously optimistic” that Giffords “may survive,” Dupnik said.

Federal Judge John Roll went to Mass, as he did every Saturday, and on his way home decided to stop and say ‘hi’ to Giffords, his friend, Dupnik said.

“He was at the wrong place at the wrong time,” Dupnik said. He called Roll a brilliant judge and a fine person.

Dupnik called two people who tackled the gunman “were brave individuals, noting that the semi-automatic pistol still had ammunition when the gunman was taken into sheriff’s custody.

He said the gunman was a subject of, “some police interest in the recent past,” and he has made death threats in the past, but not toward Giffords. There was no reason to worry about the Giffords event in advance, he said. The attack started at 10:10 a.m. amid a crowd of about two dozen people.

The gunman might have planned to shoot himself, Dupnik told reporters.

Washington - Der Mehrfachmord eines offenbar verwirrten Täters erschüttert die USA. Ein 22-Jähriger hat im Bundesstaat Arizona eine Kongressabgeordnete durch einen gezielten Kopfschuss schwer verletzt. Bei einem Bürgertreff der Politikerin erschoss er außerdem sechs Menschen, darunter ein kleines Mädchen. Zwölf weitere Menschen wurden nach Angaben der Polizei verletzt, einige von ihnen schwer.

Die genauen Motive des Täters, der überwältigt wurde und in Haft ist, sind bislang unklar. Entgegen ersten Angaben schließt die Polizei nicht aus, dass er einen Komplizen hatte. "Es gibt Gründe, davon auszugehen, dass er gemeinsam mit einem anderen Menschen hierher kam", sagte Sheriff Clarence Dupnik.

Der Täter, den US-Medien als Jared Lee L. identifizierten, habe die 40-jährige demokratische Abgeordnete Gabrielle Giffords bei einem gezielten Mordanschlag mit einer halbautomatischen Pistole niedergestreckt, sagte Dupnik. Das Gezetere über die Tea Party geht mir gehörig auf den Geist. Hier ist es notwendig zu differenzieren. Einer der Gründer der Tea Party war Karl Denninger. Dieser hat sich inzwischen von den right wing nuts um Sarah Palin und Konsorten längst distanziert. Er sagt, dass die Tea Party vom extrem rechten Flügel der Republikaner unterwandert worden ist, mit Hilfe der Koch Brother die als Millardäre das notwendige Kleingeld dafür hatten. Die Tea Party richtete sich ursprünglich gegen die private Federal Reserve die Ihren Besitzern (Goldman Sachs, Jp Morgan chase, Rothschild etc) erlaubte nicht nur Ihre gewaltigen Verluste beim Steuerzahler abzuladen sondern auf Kosten des ganzen Elends auch noch gewaltige Gewinne zu machen. Die Republikaner kamen hierbei genauso schlecht wege wie die Demokraten. Nun dreht sich bei der Tea Party offenbar alles nur noch um Schwulenhass, Waffen und Gott. Damit hat es das Establishment wieder mal geschafft. Man kontrolliert sowohl die Opposition wie auch die Regierung. Denn in Obamas Kabinett sitzen inzwischen auch die üblichen Verdächtigen mit einer Vergangenheit bei Goldman Sachs und Jp Morgan Chase. Die Linke in den USA ist nur leider zu blöde das zu erkennen. Eventuelle Parallelen zu Europa und Deutschland sind natürlich rein zufällig

Erzreaktionäre Feiglinge als Hauptverantwortliche

Ich glaube, man kann schon jetzt sagen, dass die erzreaktionäre Tea-Party-Bewegung und ihre Finanziers die Hauptverantwortung für den Anschlag tragen; dazu passt das Muster der Anschlags und die Tatsache, dass unter anderem auf ein Frauen und Kinder geschossen wurde. Gegen Frauen, Kinder und Alte mit aller zu Verfügung stehender Gewalt vorzugehen, hat nicht nur bei den Erzkonservativen große Tradition - nein, es gehört mit zum Selbstverständnis dieser selbst ernannten und gekauften "Helden".

Sie faseln etwas von "Alten Werten" und von "Recht und Gesetz" - wenn es aber tatsächlich darauf ankommt, diese genau dort einzusetzen, wo sie notwendig sind, dann verstecken sie sich feige: das könnte Ärger mit Gönnern geben, an die sie sich komplett verkauft haben.

Die persönliche Freiheit über alles!

Man kann ohne Weiteres dieses Motto als die zentrale Aussage des politischen Programms der Republikaner ansehen, d.h. man kann ungestraft den größten Schwachsinn über den politisch oder religiös anders Denkenden verbreiten, ohne dass es zunächst persönliche Folgen hat - Meinungsfreiheit!
In diesem Sinne ist auch der Besitz von Schusswaffen jeglicher Art zu verstehen - das Recht zur Verteidigung! Oder zu Töten?

Nun die Folgen kommen in Form solcher Taten zum Ausdruck. Und weitere werden leider folgen. Politisch oder religiös motivierte Morde haben in Amerika eine lange Tradition.

Was die Republikaner bis heute irgendwie noch nicht auf die Reihe gekriegt haben, ist: "Meine persönliche Freiheit hört da auf, wo die des Anderen beginnt!"
OK! Und wenn das unklar ist, wird es eben mit der Waffe in der Hand geregelt! Ganz freiheitlich!
Auf Dauer wird jede Gesellschaft untergehen, die diesem Rambogehabe (teilweise noch gepaart mit Bigotterie)nicht Einhalt gebietet.
Die amerikanische Gesellschaft mit ihrer Staatsform nennt sich gerne die freieste Demokratie der Welt, und man ist stolz auf sie! Und würde sie gerne in alle Welt exportieren!

Public leaders and others expressed sorrow about "a tragedy for the entire country," as President Obama put it -- a total of 18 persons allegedly shot by 22-year-old Jared Lee Loughner.

But officials also voiced dismay Saturday over the possibility that highly polarized rhetoric in the conservative hotbed of Arizona may have played a role in the assassination attempt of the Democratic congresswoman, who was targeted during a meet-and-greet with constituents in a shopping center. A federal judge, a girl age 9, and four other persons died in the mass killing.

While not stating a motive for the shootings, Pima County Sheriff Clarence Dupnik in Tucson used a nationally televised press conference to condemn the tone of political discourse in his state. He charged that public debate is now "vitriolic rhetoric," which has rendered Arizona "the mecca for prejudice and bigotry."
