Laut der Website Palestine al-Youm wird das zionistische Regime danach in der Lage sein, noch zehn weitere Raketenabwehrsysteme in seiner Eisernen Kuppel einzubauen.
Die zionistische Zeitung Maariv berichtete gestern: „Der US-Kongress und das US-Verteidigungsministerium haben diese US-Hilfe ratifiziert.“ Diese benötige nur noch die Unterzeichnung des US-Präsidenten Barack Obama, um nach Tel Aviv geschickt zu werden.
 Der israelische Kriegsminister Ehud Barack betonte: „Die Kooperationen zwischen Tel Aviv und Washington hätten erheblich zu genommen.“

House panel to boost funds for Israel's Iron Dome DONNA CASSATA | April 20, 2012
WASHINGTON — A House panel is boosting money for Israel's Iron Dome missile defense system by $680 million amid an election-year fight over whether President Barack Obama is doing enough for the longtime Mideast ally.

The Republican-controlled Armed Services Committee, which begins crafting a fiscal 2013 defense budget next week, plans millions more for the system designed to intercept short-range rockets and mortars, according to a congressional aide. The money would be in addition to the $205 million that the Obama administration and Congress agreed to in a special request in the 2011 budget and would cover several years, through fiscal 2015.

The aide spoke on condition of anonymity in advance of the formal announcement on the budget.

An increase in money for the program was expected as the Pentagon said last month that it would work with Congress to steer more funds to a system that has proven effective in intercepting rockets and mortars fired by Palestinian militants from Gaza. The budget plan also comes as the Obama administration tries to dissuade Israel from launching a potential unilateral strike against Iran to stop its disputed nuclear development program.

"Supporting the security of the state of Israel is a top priority of President Obama and Secretary (Leon) Panetta," the Pentagon said last month. Iron Dome - missile protection system

Iron Dome (Hebrew: כיפת ברזל‎) is a mobile air defense system in development by Rafael Advanced Defense Systems designed to intercept short-range rockets and artillery shells. The system was created as a defensive countermeasure to the rocket threat against Israel's civilian population on its northern and southern borders. It is designed to intercept very short-range threats up to 70 kilometers in all-weather situations. It was declared operational and initially deployed on March 27, 2011 near Beersheba. On April 7, 2011, the system successfully intercepted a Grad rocket launched from Gaza for the first time.

Rafael was established as part of the Ministry of Defense more than 50 years ago and was incorporated in 2002. Currently, 7% of its sales are invested in R&D. Rafael's know-how is embedded in almost all Israel Defense Forces (IDF) systems in operation today. The company has a special relationship with the IDF, developing products according to the soldiers' specific requirements in the field. Rafael has also formed partnerships with civilian counterparts to develop commercial applications based on its proprietary technology.
Rafael is a steadily growing company with sales in 2011 exceeding $1,979M, backlog orders exceeding $3,465M, and net profits at a record level of $111M.

‘Israelis are real fascists’ – Arab deputy speaker in Knesset 15 May, 2012
There will be no positive developments on the Israel-Palestine track under the current Israeli cabinet. The coalition is the most right-wing and anti-Arab in the country’s history believes Ahmed Tibi, an Arab deputy speaker in the Knesset.

RT:Last year the Israeli parliament passed the Nakba law that allows the state to find bodies that use public funding to commemorate the Nakba. Why was it necessary for this law to be passed in the first place and what are its implications?

Ahmed Tibi: I think it’s part of the discrimination laws that were passed in the last two years in the Knesset. Especially those initiated by the Israeli Beiteinu (Hebrew: ישראל ביתנו‎, lit. Israel is Our Home – ed.) party of Avigdor Lieberman. This law by Alex Miller is aimed to prevent me from commemorating my history or to express my empathy to my family, which was dissolved as the community in 1948.

RT: Why did the Israeli government need to pass a law like this?

AT: We are talking about the most radical government ever in Israel: it's a right-wing government and it's natural that they would support such a motion. They support it more than 20 motions that were passed during this Knesset discriminating [against] the Arabs. This is the climax – trying to prevent me from saying that my family was killed or deported in 1948. They want us to dance in the street as [they do]! We can't! We have natural human feelings.
